Anne Smith
Anne joined Presentation ECC in 2016 as a toddler room teacher. She is now enjoying her time as a Preschool teacher. Anne has been teaching early childhood education since 1991, teaching in another faith-based preschool until coming to Presentation. Anne graduated from Lee's Summit High School and earned a BA in Elementary Education with Minors in French and Spanish from UMKC. Anne also worked as a sub in both elementary and secondary classrooms in LS R-7 while raising her family. She is trained in Conscious Discipline for over 20 years and has a diploma from the Conscious Discipline Institute. Anne loves history, and as a member of the Lee's Summit Historical Society, she serves as the Saturday morning docent at the Lee's Summit Historical Museum. She is also a 3-time champion Lee's Summit history trivia team!
Lydia Ross
Lydia started working at Presentation ECC during the 2020-2021 school year. Before moving to Missouri from Colorado, Lydia was an early childhood educator in Denver. She has her Bachelor's Degree in Christian Education and another Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Concordia University, Nebraska. Lydia is passionate about helping children learn in a creative and active environment, which encourages critical thinking. She enjoys spending her free time at home and outdoors with her husband, Kevin, two dogs, and two cats.
Abby Sutko
Abby started working at Presentation ECC as a part-time teaching assistant in 2014 and then moved to full-time as an assistant in a toddler classroom. In 2017 Abby moved to a lead teacher role. Abby has a Bachelor's Degree in Child and Family Development from the University of Central Missouri and is currently working towards her Master's Degree in counseling. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and being outdoors!
Gabby Wald
Gabby began working in a preschool setting in 2015 and joined Presentation ECC in 2017. She has a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Missouri- Kansas City. Gabby and her husband, Sean, live in Blue Springs with their two children, Sutton and Foster. They are expecting their third child at the end of February. Gabby loves being outside and spending time with her family.
Susie Wade
Susie joined Presentation ECC in 2018. She has taught preschool children from ages 2-5 her whole career. Susie feels fortunate to be able to guide, educate and observe children at such an important stage in their development. She attended college on the East coast where she grew up and where her immediate family still call home. Susie and her husband have four children who are grown and live in the KC area. In her free time, she enjoys spending time at the lake where they live, traveling to visit family, reading, puzzles and spending time with her children.
Nancy Overfield
Nancy began working at Presentation ECC in August 2014. She has a BA in Child and Family Development from Missouri State University. Her preschool background includes working with all age groups in a variety of settings. Nancy and her husband, Lance, live in Raytown, MO and she has three children - a daughter who is an EMT, a son who is starting college at Washington University in St. Louis, and a son in high school. Nancy enjoys spending family time outdoors and playing games. She is looking forward to another exciting year at Presentation ECC!
