**Please take your child's water bottle home every evening.
**Make sure your child has at least one set of extra clothes in their cubby that is season appropriate.
Our day consists of a lot of center play time. Our centers include: House, Blocks, Writing Center, Books and Puzzles, Math and Science, Sand, water, Art and Religion.
If you ask your child what they did today and all they say is “play”, I’m ok with that! But if you want to engage them in more conversation you could ask, "What did you do for morning work?", "What activity was your favorite?", or "What made you happy today?". Asking these open ended questions will help your child remember different parts of the day.
Along with unstructured play, we do small and large group activities. This is where we focus on Kindergarten readiness skills. Some of which include conflict resolution, managing feelings, taking turns, raising hands, as well as academic skills.
Let me know if you have any questions about our day!
